Stop Listing Gratitude. Start Living It. [WRAP 198]


Last weekend was pretty perfect, Reader,

I woke up early, read my Bible, did some journaling. Then went out and coached my boys’ flag football teams. We had lunch with the family, drove out to the beach for a hard workout with the GORUCK team, finished with a cold plunge, and capped it off with beer and barbecue.

One of those days where I went to bed thinking, “Yeah. That’s it. That’s the life.”

That's when I realized... I’ve described a day like that a hundred times. To friends. In my journal. Even to you in past emails.

  • Wake up early
  • Time with God
  • Train hard
  • Time with family
  • Cold water
  • Good food
  • Cold beer

It’s not a "one day when" fantasy I’m chasing. It’s a vision I put in motion years ago. And the days I actually live it are the days I feel most present. Most grateful. Most like myself.

Gratitude isn’t just about listing what you’re thankful for. It’s about living what you say matters. What's your vision for 2026?
